The challenge

Corgan's Aviation studio was invited to present its CONNECT skyport concept at the 2018 Uber Elevate Summit alongside a select group of architecture firms. The challenge was to communicate an entirely new building typology in just 90 seconds—creating a story that resonated in a live presentation while continuing to support press coverage and industry conversations after the event.

The project's success later informed the expanded CONNECT | EVOLVED publication presented at the following year's summit.

The creative response

Shaping a clear narrative under tight constraints

I led the creative direction for the video, translating the studio's internal project narrative into a concise visual story for a high-visibility audience. Working closely with architects and subject matter experts, I distilled highly technical concepts into a narrative that could be understood by both industry experts and broader audiences.

Directing teams around a shared vision

After developing a deep understanding of the CONNECT system, I established the creative direction and guided the motion, VFX, and editorial teams around a shared visual language, tone, and pacing. Close collaboration with the Aviation studio ensured the story remained technically accurate while making a complex transportation concept approachable and engaging.

The completed video closed the Uber Elevate Summit presentation and was later featured in press coverage and industry publications, extending the reach of the CONNECT concept beyond the event while helping communicate Corgan's vision for the future of urban air mobility.
