The challenge

Corgan’s Aviation studio was invited to present its CONNECT skyport concept at the Uber Elevate Summit, alongside a small group of architecture firms. The goal was to create a short video that could clearly communicate a complex design system, land with impact in a live setting, and stand on its own beyond the event in press and published coverage.

The creative response

Shaping a clear narrative under tight constraints

I led the creative direction for the video, translating the studio’s internal project narrative into a concise visual story designed for a live, high-visibility setting. With a fixed runtime and a diverse audience, the focus was on distilling complexity into moments that could be understood quickly and confidently.

Directing teams around a shared vision

After developing a deep understanding of how the CONNECT system worked, I shaped the overall creative approach and directed the motion, VFX, and editorial teams around tone, pacing, and visual language. Decisions were guided by the need to balance clarity with a future-facing sensibility aligned to Uber’s brand, while ensuring the work could scale beyond the stage.

The final video served as the closing moment of the summit presentation and was later used in press releases and articles about the project. It helped translate a complex architectural concept into a clear, compelling artifact that supported both live presentation and broader external communication.
