The challenge

AllianceTexas is a 27,000-acre development and one of the most complex logistics ecosystems in the country, spanning surface, air, and emerging mobility technologies. The goal of this campaign was to tell a cohesive story about the Mobility Innovation Zone while also highlighting specific areas of innovation across ground and air transportation.

The work needed to align with an existing campaign, scale across multiple videos, and bring clarity to a system that is expansive, technical, and constantly evolving.

The creative response

Creating cohesion across a large, evolving system

I led the creative direction for a three-part video campaign focused on Brand, Surface, and Air, shaping a unified narrative while ensuring each piece had a clear and distinct role. Using Schaefer’s brand guidance, assets, and script as a foundation, I developed detailed storyboards, evaluated partner-provided footage, and defined what additional material was needed to complete the story.

Orchestrating production across teams and partners

From there, I directed a coordinated production effort that included on-site filming at AllianceTexas, a helicopter shoot, and a separate VFX-driven sequence. I worked closely with producers, film crews, motion designers, VFX artists, and editors to align live action, animation, and sound into a cohesive campaign.

Throughout the process, I partnered closely with Schaefer on reviews and approvals, supporting their coordination with Hillwood and ensuring the work stayed aligned with both creative intent and strategic goals.

The final videos launched as part of the Mobility Innovation Zone campaign and were featured on the MIZ website, with motion graphics extending into additional applications across the initiative.
